It is so nice to have moments when I walk into a room and see PROOF that my kids love and adore each other! They really do care about each other and these boys for sure take care of and protect their little sister.

On Labor Day we had Autumn Reynolds and Judy and Papa over for a cookout on Robbie's new grill. Yeah, the one he went and got when he and the kids were supposed to be 'hanging out' while I went to Kroger for groceries. This dude seriously never ever spends money on himself. He even feels guilty if he spends $7 at Subway and get a sandwich and chips AND cookies. I know, I married a rebel. So, when I got home and saw a new grill I just smiled and was so happy that he finally did something for himself. And that now he can do some of the cooking! hehe!

After a yummy dinner of steak and bratwurst and hot dogs and taters on the grill and corn on the cob and bread that I burned in the oven, we headed outside for some fun. Molly and Autumn sat on the deck with Judy and Papa and kept snuggly warm while the boys did, well, boy things.

I tried to think of a fun activity for the boys to do and I got the idea of hooking balloons to the fence and letting them shoot them with their bbguns. Let me tell you, $2 worth of balloons from the Dollar General made these little boys (and even the big boy) so happy! We loved watching them and their excitement when they would hit one. I told Robbie that if I ever want them to have something to keep them entertained while I clean the house all I have to do is line the fence with balloons and let them out back! I love simple fun things that we can do at home as a family!

I think that we had 30 balloons. Next time I will buy 4 packs instead of 2. But they have to blow them up because oh my gosh....I know I am pretty windy but my head was spinning after helping them blow these up! Papa Coots even got talked into helping when he got here! :)

***for the record, the boys are very careful with their guns and are only alowed to use them when given permission. Molly is never ever out in the yard when they are using them. If she is outside she is on the deck with an adult. :)***
