My BABY is FIVE. My baby. This is serious. :)
She picked Cracker Barrel for her birthday dinner so we invited Grandma Judy (Papa had a meeting in Nashville!). Molly ordered a pancake, a chicken tender, and a baked potato. She was more excited to get the meal over with so she could open up her new baby doll and stroller that she picked out in the little store on the way in!
Earlier in the day when our little friend Pierce arrived for us to babysit him, he brought Molly a special delivery! She actually hung up on Papa Ostermiller who had just called to wish her a Happy Birthday when she saw the loot that Pierce had brought her! Sorry Papa, Hellp Kitty won! Thank you, Pierce and his mommy Jennifer for helping to make Molly's birthday morning special!
After we dropped the boys off at school Molly requested Chickfila, so of course, that is where we went! :) She had a biscuit, chicken nuggets, and a Dr. Pepper for breakfast! I got her all situated on the recliner, put Caillou on the flat screen, and she was set! :)
A little after she started eating, my friend Kira called and said "I am at the Chickfila drive-thru, does the birthday girl want anything?" I told her that Molly already has Chickfila and then Molly informed us that she would like a chocolate milkshake....so, you guessed it, she then got a chocolate milkshake delivered to her front door!!!! I know, she gets NO attention.
The phone calls then started coming in.....so many fans, so little time! ha!
We let Molly open the gifts from us the night before her birthday so she wouldn't be tortured the whole day of her birthday while daddy was at work and the boys were at school. Robbie leaves for work at 5am so we couldn't get up and do presents in the morning.

The day before her birthday was a pre-school day, so Molly took cupcakes for her class. She was excited to be the birthday girl and for them to sing the special birthday song to her!
Molly Mae, I love you so much. You make our family so happy. You are so caring and so funny. You love crafts and you are always singing. You love to sing primary songs and you know about every song that is on the radio. You are very concerned about the feelings of others. You are a great friend and LOVE to have friends over. You love to be read to. Mommy is going to try harder to hold still more often and read to you more. I promise. You love pre-school. I can't believe you are going to kindergarten in August. You love to draw pictures. I love it when you draw a picture of you and I together and give it to me. I know that you think it is the greatest compliment to me and I love it. I keep a lot of those little scraps of paper. One day you will see the big box of treasures that mommy has. You love baby dolls. You are a little mommy. You change your babies diapers often. You talk to and kiss your babies lots. You are very nice and gentle to your babies, too. You are going to be a good mommy one day. I am so happy that I get to be your mommy. I love you to the moon. And back.
